Typically, our products are generated in machine-independent object modules which are executed by machine-specific WonderRun runtime modules.1
This allows our products to run on over 600 platforms and several operating systems including most common variants of UNIX, Linux (including Linux on the IBM s/390), 32-bit Windows systems, HP MPE (including POSIX shell running on top of HP MPE), Extended MS-DOS, VAX/VMS, and many others.
This technology allows us to support wide varieties of client platforms, while minimizing our development and support costs.
This technology also allows our clients to deploy throughout an enterprise, regardless of the variety of platforms that may be used in different parts of the enterprise.
1In rare cases, where performance or some other consideration requires it, we generate native object modules for Intel and/or Sparc processors.
