OpenPROTRAK provides property control and management for all types of assets including:

• Government-owned property in compliance with FAR Part 45;

• Company-owned property;

• Rented property;

• Leased property;

• Real property;

• etc.

OpenPROTRAK is a companion product to OpenMETRIC.  OpenMETRIC is a required prerequisite for OpenPROTRAK.

By tightly integrating property management with metrology management, numerous benefits can be achieved.  Each servicing (calibration, repair, maintenance, etc.) of test and measurement equipment serves as a "touch" of the asset.  This significantly increases the frequency and quality of asset verification for property control.

By tightly integrating property management with metrology management, the normalization and consistency of the database is substantially improved.

OpenPROTRAK provides extensive support for bar coding to improve accuracy and productivity.  (An explanation of bar coding support for our OpenSystems in included in the Frequently Asked Questions section.)
