Cal the Lab

Frequently, people ask us about our cal lab.

We respond "His name is Cal and he's a yellow lab."

We adopted Cal the Lab as our thematic mascot several years ago when a talking Chihuahua was promoting Mexican fast food.

Cal the Lab has two primary emotions.

Before he got OpenMETRIC, Cal was sad and depressed as he moaned "Yo quiero OpenMETRIC" (meaning "I want OpenMETRIC").

Now that he has OpenMETRIC, Cal is happy and excited as he yips "¡Yo tengo OpenMETRIC!" (meaning  "I have OpenMETRIC!").

Cal has appeared on our newsletters, T-shirts, and golf shirts.  Cal is featured prominently on our exhibit booth at metrology conferences.  Finally, Cal is featured on the jewelcase inserts of our software shipments, as illustrated below.
